What is the default visual interaction in Power BI ?


The default visual interaction in Power BI should be Drill Mode On, we can set this to on off, if we keep off, we have to change the setting every time. Instead set the Default to ‘Drill Mode On’.
What it means to Drill Mode on, if the totals are at yearly level, the drill mode on can enable user to drill down to monthly, weekly, daily and so on. The level of drill downs are only possible based on the data.

How to change default visual settings in Power BI ?


STEP 1: Select visualization to make it active.
STEP 2: Display the visual interaction options.
Go to Power BI service , select the dropdown from the report menubar.



In Desktop, select Format > Interactions.



Then select Edit interactions. Power BI adds cross-filter and cross-highlight icons to all of the other visualizations on the report page.



Now select Drilling Filters and other visuals. Now when you drill down or roll up (Drill down and up) in a visualization the changes will reflect the current drilling selection.
